Operator Requirements
We suggest before arriving on your booking time that you complete this easy 3 Step FL Boat Rental Test. (Get Certified) *WIthout cert when you arrive can delay your rental time.
To rent, the minimum age is 18 and to operate the minimum age is 14 with a Boating Safety ID Card or Permit unless he/she is accompanied by a legal age operator.
Florida law – Any person born on or after January 1, 1988, may not operate a vessel powered by a motor of 10 horsepower or greater unless such person has in his or her possession on board the vessel photographic identification and a boater’s safety identification card. ::Section 327.395, Florida Statutes
